Cov Cares event brings businesses boosting connection together in Coventry

In June 2023, the first Cov Cares Awards brought Coventry’s business community together to celebrate connection and belonging.

Ten awards – from Community Champion to Warm Welcome to More Than Just A… shop, cafe, bar, venue and bank – shone a light on the city’s unsung heroes. Nominated by the people of Coventry themselves.

The Cov Cares Awards celebrated the businesses, organisations and individuals going above and beyond to make customers feel seen, heard and cared for.

The power of these special places, spaces and people is not to be underestimated in our fight against isolation and marginalisation.

The ceremony audience heard powerful stories sent in by the people of Coventry, highlighting the impact that the businesses and organisations had on their lives.

BUT we want to continue building on this amazing foundation of belonging.

To create a network of connection across the city and truly show what we mean when we say, “Cov Cares”. Can you help?
