This is our response to the current situation regarding coronavirus (COVID-19).
After the Government’s advice yesterday (16 March), we’ve taken the difficult decision to temporarily close all our community-based work in Coventry and Warwickshire.
This has been a really tough decision, but the health and well-being of the people we work with and our staff team has to be our priority.
By Monday 23 March all our staff will be home working. They will still be available via email, telephone and Zoom (a free online collaboration app). We are making plans to divert the main office phone to mobiles.
We are redoubling our efforts to tackle isolation.
We are working on making sure everyone is well informed about the action they need to take to stay well. We are also planning how we can still support people by phone and on online as well as how we can mobilise neighbours and others to help.
We will post updates here and on social media – please keep tuned in!
Sending positive vibes,
The Grapevine Team x
