This week’s #TeamTalk post welcomes Janet Doran to the team. Janet is our new programme manager for the Healthy Communities Together partnership in Coventry.
She joins us at Grapevine following a 26-year career in local goverment followed by experience in the voluntary sector and two years spent working in primary care. Here she answers our questions.
Healthy Communities Together is a cross-sector collaboration that wants to do health differently.
Made up of Grapevine, Coventry City Council, Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Partnership Trust and wider health partners, supported by The King’s Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund under a grant-funding and development programme.
What are our shared experiences of mental health and the opportunities that exist for us as a city working together to improve health and care outcomes for our population?
Starting from individuals and moving out to their families, friends, neighbours, local voluntary sector groups and services, and then up to secondary and primary care.
As Janet takes on her new role in this programme, please grab a cuppa and find out her five favourite things, experience she’s bringing to the role, why she works in systems change and what she’s most looking forward to about working for Grapevine.
Plus a fun fact!
