Getting these things is not always easy. Anyone setting out to
make a life needs support and information. People with learning
disabilities and autism in Coventry can get that from Grapevine's
Help and Connect service.
Every person is unique. They have different strengths and
interests. So we take time to find out what you want. We try and
help in a way that works for you. There are lots of ways to get
support and information at Help and Connect.
Sessions where we meet you one-to-one . We help you get over
problems, understand information and find out about other places
you can get support.
Training sessions to work on confidence, independence, staying
safe, positive mental health, benefits changes, 'mate crime' and
anything else that's important to you.
One-to-one support to get connected in the community. Each
person can get support for up to six months.
Heather Ewing and Gordon Lowe have supported Grapevine groups
for many years. Like all Grapevine staff, they know how to support
people to make the most of their skills. They don't take over.
